EMBLEM OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS
The emblem of the Russian Academy of Arts resembles traditional symbols of the Imperial Academy of Arts (designed by V. Sverchkov, 1856). The emblem was approved by the Chief King of Arms of the Russian Federation G. Villinbakhov. The emblem of the Russian Academy of Arts was re-created by M. Avvakumov, Prof. of the V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute in 1995.
Full Members and Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Arts are decorated with golden and silver lapel badges (respectively), gowns, caps and breastplates.
