THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN ART PROCESSES: INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH CONFERENCE AT THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS

The Research and Organizing Department for Coordination of Programs of Fundamental Researches of the Russian Academy of Arts invites you to attend the International Research Conference “The Russian Academy of Arts in the Context  of Modern Art Processes”, that is timed to the 265th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts and will take place in the White Hall of the Academy (21 Prechistenka street, Moscow) on November 14-15, 2022. The Conference formats:  full-time and online with live broadcast in youtube channel of the Academy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzAuOwqAEV4OubMatd7thCQ/featured

In 2022 the Russian Academy of Arts is marking its 265th anniversary. The Conference is part of the Jubilee Program and deals with the general analyses of the activity of the Academy and its members for the period of three centuries. It will focus on problems of today’s development of the Russian Academy of Arts, its scientific and creative activity.

The Conference main themes:

-The Imperial Academy of Arts – USSR Academy of Arts – Russian Academy of Arts: history, academic heritage and present development;

-Creative projects and works by eminent Academicians of various years: the All-Russian and international context;

-Forms of international cooperation and international creative projects of the Academy of Arts, its Academicians and Foreign Members in the 18th – 21st centuries;

-The Institute of Honorary Members of the Academy in various years; the synthesis of science and arts;

-The role of national schools in the promotion of Russian fine arts;

-Current studies of history and present state of fine arts, architecture, design;

-The Academy of Arts and problems of the promotion of art education: historical and today’s experience;

-Specific features of the techniques and technologies development in fine arts, architecture, design and innovative trends.
