The Russian Academy Of Arts

On June 1, 2024 in the Orel Region there was an unveiling of the monument to the noted statesman and reformer Petr A. Stolypin created by the People’s Artist of the USSR and Russia, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli. The sculptural composition has become part of the architectural ensemble “Orel Ear”  in Saburovskiye  Vyselki including a church consecrated in honor of St. Sergius  of Radonezh, Petr Stolypin Agricultural Gymnasium, Theological Seminary and Boarding School.

The ceremony began with a prayer service and consecration of the monument by the Archimandrite Ili (Nozdrin). It was attended by the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Vasily Tsereteli, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Krutoy, the former Governor of the Orel Region Vadim Potomsky, Director-General of “ROSTECH” state corporation Sergey Chemezov, Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency Veronica Skvortsova, Deputy Head of the “SIBUR” Holding Board Kirill Shamalov, Head of the Group of “Region” companies Sergey Sudarikov and others.  The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin sent the greeting address for the unveiling of the monument and Gymnasium that was read out to the ceremony attendees.
