The Russian Academy Of Arts

On August 23, 2023 at the award ceremony in the Apple Hall of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts the Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana N. Moskalkova presented the Commemorative Badge “For Services to the Protection of Human Rights” to the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli for his significant contribution to the protection of human rights and freedoms. Tatyana Moskalkova has also presented as a gift to the renowned sculptor a model of the composition “Justice and Mercy” in the form of a heart inside which there are seven bells. The monument of the same name was created by Zurab Tsereteli and placed at the site of the Headquarters of the Federal Ombudsman in Moscow in 2019. The ceremony was also attended by the delegation headed by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Kyrghyz Republic Dzhamilya Dzhamanbayeva.
