The Presidium and President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli have congratulated the Director Marina D. Loshak and the staff of A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts on the 110th anniversary of the Museum’s unveiling in Moscow on May 31, 1912. The Letter of Greetings runs:

On behalf of the Presidium and the creative staff of the Russian Academy of Arts I cordially congratulate you, the management and staff of A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts on its remarkable birthday.
The 110th unveiling anniversary of the Museum is a significant date and big event for all the cultural community and museums of this country. Founded by the eminent scientist, historian, art historian, archaeologist Ivan V. Tsvetaev and the entrepreneur, diplomat, philanthropist Yury S. Nechaev-Maltsov, for more than a century the Museum has been fulfilling its principle task - to preserve and enrich the collection. Today, it has become the world renowned center of art, education and enlightenment, the famous museum complex with one of the biggest in Russia collections of international art.
We are confident, that the Museum has successfully survived all the upheavals and complexities of the 20th and 21st century and has been rapidly developing mostly due to the people who have always been selflessly devoted to the Museum and managed to preserve and increase the invaluable spiritual, historical and cultural wealth.
