The Russian Academy Of Arts

The Sculpture Department of the Russian Academy of Arts invites you to attend the Panel Discussion dedicated to the work by the eminent sculptor and painter, People’s Artist of the USSR , Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Laureate of the USSR State Prize Nickolai Nikogosyan (1918-2018), that will take place in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts (21 Prechistenka street, Moscow) on December 10, 2018 at 16.00.

The panel discussion is being held simultaneously with the exhibition of easel works by artists-probationers of the Sculpture Creative Workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) entitled “The Continuation of Traditions”. The Sculpture Creative Workshop is headed by Alexander V. Tsygal, member of the RAA Presidium, Academician, Secretary of the Sculpture Department of the RAA, People’s Artist of Russia, Winner of the Moscow City Prize in Literature and Arts.

The panel discussion will deal with various aspects of the master’s creative work and be accompanied by a film about Nickolai Nikogosyan’s life and works.
