The Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the Russian Academy of Arts invites you to take part in the research conference “The Academic Drawing in Russia (XVIII-XXI Century) that will take place at the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts (21 Prechistenka street) in April, 2018.
Dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Exhibition of Russian and Finnish Artists (St. Petersburg, 1898), the Conference deals with all types and techniques of the academic drawing, its history, development and important role in art education and creative work of Russian artists in various periods of Russian art.
