The Russian Academy Of Arts

In November 2017 the Russian Center for Science and Culture will host several events in honor of the 260th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts – the major institution of Russian culture that became a fundamental art school for great achievements of Russian fine arts and architecture in the 18th-21st centuries.  Today, many Academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts efficiently promote international cultural cooperation and are actively involved in the creative, educational, research and exhibition activity.

On November 8, 2017 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli will give his fifth master class in painting providing children from Russian and French families with a rare possibility to master the techniques of composition and color search under the supervision of the renowned master.    

On November 9, 2017 the Russian Academy of Arts and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Paris will sign an agreement on cooperation aimed at the promotion of their partnership that resulted in several successful exhibition projects and master classes of Academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts.  

From November 10-25, 2017 on display at the Russian Center for Science and Culture will be a solo show of works by the People’s Artist of Russia, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Zurab Tsereteli timed to the 260th anniversary of the Academy. Zurab Tsereteli is an author of more than 5000 works of painting, graphics, sculpture, enamels, monumental and decorative art. The exhibition presents the artist’s recent works produced in his Paris studio.
