The Russian Academy Of Arts

The Russian Academy of Arts, Moscow Museum of Modern Art in association with FINE ART Gallery present an exhibition of works by the Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Elena Tsereteli. “Untitled” is her second project in FINE ART Gallery, the first – “Private Space” was held in 2010.

Lika Tsereteli has used as objects “ready-made” things, decorated by her they  make an integrity with the Gallery’s space –  a total installation in which the viewer finds himself a participant, a component free to give his own name to the project... The basis for the creation of an artwork or “carrier” is a utensil – wrapper, cardboard packs and various small boxes, handbills and other things that could have perished in the trash dump, but in the artist’s hands they have obtained a new life and miraculously became objects of art.
