The Russian Academy Of Arts

On October 4, 2012 Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, hosted the 2nd International Humanitarian Forum involving politicians, scientists and figures of culture from 70 countries and seven major international organizations. For a short period of time the Forum had become a competent platform of world scale for the search of responses to global challenges and solutions for problems of humanitarian collaboration.

This year the Forum, which cofounders are the Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, has been held under the motto “XXI century: Hopes and Challenges”. Within the framework of the Forum the President of the Russian Academy of Arts, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Zurab Tsereteli met with the First Lady of Azerbaijan, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.
