The President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Nickolai Nickogosyan, the People’s Artist of the USSR, winner of the USSR State Prizes, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts on his 93rd birthday. The telegram of greetings, in particular, runs:

“You have walked the roads of the Great Patriotic War and after the end of the War devoted yourself to art. You have been recognized as a talented sculptor who made a significant contribution to the promotion of Russian culture. You have created many distinguished works that were appreciated by prestigious awards. I wish you health and prosperity” – Dmitry Medvedev.
