The Russian Academy Of Arts

The prize was initiated by the Honorary Citizen of Tver Region, People’s Artist of the USSR, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Efrem Zverkov in 2007. This year the prize was awarded to winners of the painting competition organized by the Committee for Culture of Tver Region and A.G. Venetsianov Tver Regional Art College.

The winners were selected from sixteen young artists – students of A.G. Venetsianov Tver Regional Art College who submitted for the competition 52 paintings and drawings. At the award ceremony on December 24, 2010 Efrem Zverkov congratulated Tatyana Egorova (Torzhok), Alena Emelyanova (Bologoye), Ilya Pilyugaev (Konakovo), Maria Nikolskaya (Tver), Ksenia Nefedova (Tver), Alexei Silaev (Tver), Lyudmila Krylova (Tver) and presented them with the Prize.
