President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli Submitted Proposals for the Promotion and Improvement of Academic Science and Education in the State Duma
On December 22, 2009 in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation the Just Russia fraction held a round table on the topic: The State Policy in the Field of Fine Arts. Legal Support. Zurab Tsereteli, President of the Russian Academy of Arts specified main problems of preservation of the Russian system of Academic education and submitted proposals for its development.
Among the major initiatives were the establishment of the Foundation of the Russian Academy of Arts for Promotion and Support to Fine Arts and the Institute of Performing Arts of the Russian Academy of Arts.
