The Russian Academy Of Arts

On December 15, 2009 the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts is holding a session commemorating Vasily Kandinsky, the world renowned Russian painter whose creative work has greatly influenced the development of world art.  In the  session timed to the artist’s 65th death anniversary will take part descendents of several branches and generations of the Kandinsky family tree.

 

The program includes lectures by the Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Valeri Turchin, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Andrei Tolstoi, speeches by the Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Tatyana |Kaptereva-Shambinago and Professor of the Moscow State Conservatoire Alexei A. Kandinsky.
