The Russian Academy Of Arts

On November 18, the noted Japanese public figure, artist, art historian, collector and patron of art,  Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Tadashi Goino visited the Russian  Academy of Arts and met with its President Zurab Tsereteli.

 

Tadashi Goino presented  as a gift to the Academy his paintings “How do you do Mr. Hatoyama” and “Self-Portrait”. Zurab Tsereteli highly appreciated Tadashi Goino’s generous action and expressed his hope for further cooperation with  Japanese artists. In 2007,  in Tokyo there was an unveiling ceremony for Zurab Tsereteli’s monument to  the former Japanese Prime Minister Itiro Hatoyama.
