The Russian Academy Of Arts

Set up on the initiative of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Urals Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Urals Department of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences and A. Gorky Urals State University, the Expert Council is an independent public entity.

 

It is headed by Sergei Golynets, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Head of the Chair for Art History of the Faculty of Art Criticism and Culturology of the Urals State University. The Council consisting of over thirty figures of culture from the Urals is aimed at protecting the region from the influx of sculpture of small artistic value.
