Moscow Prizes 2009 in the field of literature and arts have been awarded to   members of the Russian Academy of Arts:

Nikolai Shumakov, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Chief Architect of “Metrogiprotrans” Company  - for the development and implementation of the project of Picturesque cable-stayed bridge which facility’s main attraction is an observation platform with a restaurant in the shape of a flying saucer suspended from an arched tower at the height of 87.3 meters;

Igor Voskresensky,  Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts – for the design and implementation of beautification projects for socially-oriented objects in Moscow;

Dmitry Nadezhdin,  Professor, Graphic Art Department of V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute – for his series “Moscow: Landmarks of History”;

Alexei Sukhovetsky,  Associate Professor, Painting Department of V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute – for the cycle “My Moscow”;

Oleg Krivtsun,  Head of  the Department, RAA Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts – for his book “Artist’s Creative Mentality”.
