The Russian Academy Of Arts

On March 16, 2009 the Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, People’s  Architect of the Russian Federation, Professor Vladilen Krasilnikov gave a masterclass for students of the Architecture Faculty of V. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute.

The architect, who has been involved in teaching for over forty years,  shared  his experience in the design of  public buildings, the majority of which are connected with theatres.  He commented a film about his major architectural works such as N. Sats Children’s Music Theatre, the Meyerhold Theatrical Center, complex of the Russian Cultural Center with a House of Music on the Red Hills in Moscow, Theatre in Tula and many others.

Vladilen Krasilnikov answered numerous questions and told about his joint work in architecture with noted painters and sculptors.
