Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tatyana Nazarenko is a Winner of 2009 Triumph Prize

Tatyana Nazarenko, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts, head of the workshop in V. Surikov Moscow Academy Art Institute has been awarded 2009 Triumph Prize, the first independent award in Russia  given for the highest achievements in literature and arts.

The award ceremony took place in Moscow at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts on January 26, 2009. Among this year’s winners of the Triumph Prize are opera stage director Boris Pokrovsky who has recently marked his 97th anniversary, pianist Alexander Melnikov, actor and director of the Moscow Satirikon Theatre Konstantin Raikin, People’s Artist of USSR Oleg Yankovsky.
 
The laureates have been presented with a Gold Elf statuette designed by Ernst Neizvestny,  a diploma, badge and the Prize’s money equivalent.
