The Russian Academy Of Arts

On December 12, 2008 the Annual Honorary Prize of the Russian Authors’ Society for Contribution to Promotion of Science, Culture and Arts was awarded to President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli.

Among the winners of this Honorary Prize are Alexandra Pakhmutova, Tikhon Khrennikov, Andrei Eshpai, Andrei Petrov, Maya Plisetskaya,  Rodion Schedrin, Zhores Alferov, Joseph Kobzon, Ilya Reznik, Evgeni Primakov, Nikolai Dobronravov and other celebrities of Russian culture and science.

The Russian Authors’ Society is a non-profit, public entity set up for execution and protection of copyrights in intellectual activities. The award ceremony for the Prize will be held at the Hall of  Ecumenical Councils of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior on December 22, 2008.
