The Russian Academy Of Arts

The monument to the celebrated circus athlete Alexander Zass will find its home  in front of the Orenburg circus where he started out as a circus actor one hundred years ago. The monument designed by Alexander Rukavishnikov, Full Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, has been delivered to Orenburg to be inaugurated on the verge of the City Day on September1, 2008.

The name of Alexander Zass has been revived from oblivion by devotees of EuroAsia Charitable Foundation, who amassed in Great Britain a collection of his personal belongings and bequeathed it to Orenburg History Museum.
