The Russian Academy Of Arts

On April 16, 2008 at the award ceremony the celebrated poet, People’s

Artist of Russia Ilya Reznik was presented with the gown, cap and medal

of an Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts.

“It has come as a pleasant surprise” – commented  Ilya Reznik. “I feel

honored to be in the company of prominent artists and elite of Russian

culture”.

The classic of  Russian painting,  People’s Artist of Russia Dmitri 

Zhilinski has noted that he can not help admiring Ilya Reznik’s ability

to react to the Beautiful from the bottom of his heart and soul.

The Russian Academy of Arts succeeding to the best traditions of the

Imperial Academy of Arts unites the most talented creative figures of

the country. Among its Honorary Members are such outstanding

representatives of Russian culture as theatre producer Oleg Tabakov,

playwright Edward Radzinski, director of Malyi Theatre Yuri Solomin,

film directors Stanislav Govorukhin, Nikita Mikhalkov and pthers.
