On April 13, 2008 in Tsereteli Art Gallery, 19 Prechistenka street, will be held a presentation of “Philology. Volume 1” Almanac sponsored by Zurab Tsereteli. The Almanac offers rare works never published before: diaries of  Grand Prince Konstantin Romanoff; letters of Andrei Belyi; article by  E. Lukyanov “Malevich in Nemchinovka”.  It also contains a chapter from the unpublished novel by G. Gotovtsev “Lion on the Tower” narrating a history of the noble family from the 14th century to these days. The Gotovtsev family has been immortalized  on the walls of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The Almanac’s highlight is the latest work of musical critic T. Grum-Grzhimailo entitled Myth About Rostropovich. On the cover of the Almanac is represented an image of the sculpture designed by Zurab Tsereteli in memory of the great cellist. The Almanac has been published in the Creative Workshop printing house.
The presentation is planned to be followed by a concert of laureates of V. Spivakov International Charitable Foundation.
