Inauguration of Artist’s Week in Sergei Konenkov Memorial Studio-Museum
On April 12, 2008 the annual Artist’s Week will be inaugurated in Sergei Konenkov Memorial Studio-Museum, 17 Tverskaya street. It was initiated by Sergei Konenkov in 1958.
The program offers an exhibition of works by artists-restorers of I. Grabar All-Union Restoration Center who are involved in the renewal of Sergei Konenkov’s sculptures including I. Bazhutina, V. Simonova, Y. Lyubchenko; a display of sculptures by E. Gusev (Berlin); concert of piano music to be performed by Natalya Guseva, Professor of Berlin Conservatoire.
