Magic of Saltwort Exposition in UNESCO Headquarters Was Highly Appreciated by Zurab Tsereteli

“An amazing, unique, splendid exhibition” – said sculptor Zurab Tsereteli about the display entitled Magic of Saltwort which has been organized within the framework of international presentation of the Republic of Bashkortostan in UNESCO Headquarters: Bashkortostan – 450 Years Together with Russia.
Zurab Tsereteli has been sincerely delighted with the exposition: “ It is fabulous! The exhibition has created the atmosphere and spirit of the time from the IVth century till these days. The information it contains is truly encyclopedic! This is a unique nation with a unique biography”. The sculptor also appreciated children’s works.
Zurab Tsereteli, who is designing a monument to our great compatriot Rudolf Nureyev, has pointed to an interesting photo display arranged in honor of the 70th birth anniversary of the celebrated ballet dancer. “On May 21, 2008 I am going to show this sculpture to UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors” – said Zurab Tsereteli. “This photo exposition has enriched my vision of Rudolf Nureyev”.
Zurab Tsereteli wished the Republic of Bashkortostan further achievements in education, science and culture, as well as noted that “Bashkortostan is a rare specimen of how more than one hundred nationalities coexist in peace and concord”.
