President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli Presented Style of the Year Prizes

The fifth award ceremony for the national prize Style of the Year set up by the Capital Style Magazine took place on February 7, 2008. Among the nominees for the prize have been politicians, businessmen, figures of science and culture, sportsmen, showmen distinguished by their extraordinary style who have a strong impact on vogue in profession, way of life and greatly contribute to the political, economic, social and spiritual development of the nation. The winners have been determined according to results of Internet voting arranged by the magazine.

President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli had the honor to open the ceremony and present the Style of the Year 2007 prize to the Director of the A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts Irine Antonova, celebrated film director and script writer Eldar Ryazanov, laureate of home and international competitions, Vice-President of the New Names International Foundation Denis Matsuev.

The award ceremony was held in the Moscow cultural and historical center Surikov Hall, designed by architect Konstantin Melnikov, which is in UNESCO list of world architectural legacy.
