 Rome, December, 10. (ITAR-TASS). In connection with the 200-th anniversary of the outstanding Russian artist Alexander Ivanov’s birthday (1806-1858) the Center of Russian Culture in Rome held a series of lectures, evenings and concerts. The admirers of the painter’s talent visited the apartment of the Ivanov’s studio in Rome at Via del Vantagho, where master worked under his famous masterpiece “Appearance of Christ to People”.

   In the ancient Rome cathedral of St. Mark Evangelist at the Square Venezia the concert, dedicated to Alexander Ivanov took place.
