The Russian Academy Of Arts

On October 3 the official opening ceremony of the triumphal monument “Military glory” was held in Saint-Petersburg. Saint-Petersburg governor Valentina Matvienko  and plenipotentiary representative of the Russian president  Ilya Klebanov expressed thanks to the Russian Academy of Arts and its president Zurab Tsereteli for the active assistance in restoration of the statue to the goddess Nika. The statue was cast in the plant “Monumentsculpture”. At the ceremony took part as well plenipotentiary representative of the Russian president in the central federal district G.Poltavchenko and Saint-Petersburg and Ladozhsky Metropolitan Vladimir.
