The opening of the monument to the Saint warrior Peresvet created by Z.K.Tsereteli in Borisoglebsk (Yaroslavl region).
26.09.2005 Celebrations of the 625th anniversary of Kulikovskaya battle took place in September 2005. Main celebrations were held on the Kulikovo field. Within the framework of the ceremony held on September 26 in the town of Borisoglebsk (Yaroslavl region) the official opening of the monument to the Saint warrior Peresvet created by Z.K.Tsereteli took place.
At the ceremony of unveiling the monument assisted President’s Plenipotentiary to the Central Federal Area G.S.Poltavchenko, Governor of Yaroslavl region A.I.Lisicin, Archbishop of Yaroslavl and Rostov, Kirill.
Later the consecration of the monument was held.
