Putin lays stone of the monument to the victims of September,11

New York, September,15 – RIA “News”. On Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin will lay the stone into the foundation of the monument to the victims of September,11 in Bayonne(New Jersey State).
The opening of the monument is planned on September,11 2006. The stone bears the inscription: “A gift from the Russian people. President Vladimir Putin. The monument will be installed here dedicated to the fight against international terrorism”.
The sculptural composition was transported to the USA by ship on August,20. It represents a broken 30-meter high steel Stella with an 11-meter crystal tear.
The 30-meter high and 150 tons sculpture will be installed in the park in front of lower Manhattan.11 paths will be laid out from the monument. Later it is also planned to install sculptures of different worldwide masters in commemoration of victims of terrorist attack. The foundation will contain names and surnames more than 3400 people.
