CHARLIE THE DREAMER: EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY THE PEOPLE’S ARTIST OF RUSSIA ZURAB TSERETELI IN PYATIGORSK

The CHARLIE THE DREAMER exhibition of works by the People’s Artist of the USSR and Russia, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli  will open the annual festival “The Autumn Cultural Marathon”. The event is taking place within Pyatigorsk City Day celebration and is part of the major project in honor of the 90th jubilee of the eminent Master. It features almost 56 artworks produced by the artist in various techniques. The visitors will see Zurab Tsereteli’s canvases vividly demonstrating his unique approach to color and composition structure - these are rich shades creating a powerful visual dynamics. The centerpieces are Tsereteli’s sculptures that will immerse the viewer into a completely special world of characters. The art space will also include his  silkscreen printings with  witty and philosophical reflections on human nature and the world around us. Of major interest are the artist’s recent works (2020-2021) from his famous vast series dedicated to Charlie Chaplin executed in one of the most decorative and spectacular techniques – the three-dimensional enamel.
