TOGETHER UNDER THE SUN: SOLO EXHIBITION OF THE PEOPLE’S ARTIST OF RUSSIA EVGENY ROMASHKO IN BEIJING

The National Art Museum of China presents a solo exhibition of the People’s Artist of Russia, Academician and Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts Evgeny Romashko featuring 48 works of the master including his landscapes created from nature and paintings resulted from creative trips.
The brilliant professional craftsmanship of the painter allows Evgeny Romashko to create canvases emotionally expressive, full of sensations and inner dynamics. His paintings convey complex nuances of personal experiences and life impressions obtained by the artist. Evgeny Romashko combines his creative work with teaching and public activity. He is the First Vice-President of the Creative Artists’ Union of Russia, organizer and curator of major art projects in Moscow and other Russian regions. Since 2009 he has been heading the Chair for Academic Painting of S. Stroganov Moscow State University for Arts and Industry. His paintings are in many museum and private collections worldwide.
The exhibition opening ceremony at the National Art Museum of China has been attended by the Head of the Artists’ Union of China Fan Dian, noted Chinese artists and figures of culture, some of them are Honorary Foreign Members of the Russian Academy of Arts.
