THE EXPEDITION DIARY: EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY RUSTAM YAUSHEV, OLGA YAUSHEVA AND VLADIMIR ANISIMOV AT THE MUSEUM AND EXHIBITION COMPLEX OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS

The Russian Academy of Arts presents an exhibition of the Honored Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Rustam Yaushev (1937-2017), Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Vladimir Anisimov, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Olga Yausheva featuring more than 200 paintings, graphic sheets, objects of applied art produced by the artists in various years.

 

The distinguished talent of these Moscow artists has been revealed most vividly during their numerous creative expeditions in the 1990s-2000s in the countries of Southeast Asia: Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippine, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, as well as in Latin America, North Africa, South Asia, Egypt, Greece, Cuba and Mongolia. On display are exotic landscapes [i]depicting the vastness of the globe and authentic images of people on different continents. Visitors will also have an opportunity to see unique artifacts brought by the artists from their trips to the Asian region.

 

Rustam Yaushev, Vladimir Anisimov, Olga Yausheva are the artists who through their creative work have made a significant contribution to Russian and world art culture. Their multisided activity has inspired many Russian painters including Academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts to take part in creative trips to various countries. Among them are M.P. Miturich (1925-2008), Y.V. Kopeiko (1933-2010), V.A. Maloletkov, N.N. Solomin, L.I. Savelieva, V.S. Muratov (1929-2005), S.M. Nikireev (1932-2007), A.M. Belashev (1933-2011), G.G. Poplavsky (1931-2017), V.I. Pereyaslavets (1918-2018) and others. The art expeditions have much influenced on the promotion of international ties and art life.
