THE ANTICIPATION OF SUMMER: EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY OLEG ZAKOMORNY AND IVA-SOFIA ZAKOMORNAYA IN THE FEDERATION COUNCIL

The Anticipation of Summer exhibition presents works by the Moscow sculptor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Oleg Zakomorny and his daughter Iva-Sofia Zakomornaya, student of the Monumental and Decorative Painting Department of S. Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry.
Oleg Zakomorny is a celebrated sculptor and artist whose works have been exhibited both in Moscow, many regions of Russia and other cities in the world. Creating his way in art, the artist continues the best traditions of impressionism in sculpture considering Auguste Rodin, Paolo Troubetskoy, Anna Golubkina as his predecessors. He is also close to the traditions of Russian romantic realism which he successfully develops in his work.
The sculptor’s daughter Iva-Sofia Zakomornaya is just at the beginning of her creative career. The young artist tries her hand at various styles and trends boldly experimenting with color, light and shadow. Each of her canvases is distinguished by special stylistic peculiarity and compositional perfection.
