Moscow and Muscovites: Exhibition of Academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts at the Moscow House of Nationalities

The Moscow House of Nationalities located in an old Moscow mansion of Prince Kurakin hosts an exhibition of the Academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts timed to the 260th anniversary of the Academy and the 870th anniversary of Moscow. The exhibition presents 55 paintings, graphic works and sculptures by   such distinguished masters as Academicians Zurab Tsereteli, Victor Glukhov, Victor Kalinin, Konstantin Petrov, Evgeny Romashko, Nickolai Solomin, Vasily Bubnov, Petr Stronsky, Valery Polotnov; Honored Artists of Russia: Andrey Dubov, Oleg Zakomorny, Valery Rzhevsky, Nicas Safronov, Ivan Polienko.  

The jubilee exhibition is also an opportunity to display works by young artists- winners of the annual competition – plain air “Old Moscow” including a diverse range of drawings and canvases dedicated to old and present-day Moscow.
