Nana Mandjgaladze is an artist of God’s gift who started her creative work when she was already a successful personality, having a family and a prestigious profession.

She was born and brought up in Georgia. Her professional activity was not connected with art. She worked for the Financial and Budget Commission of the Georgian Parliament, as an advisor to the Trade and Economic Representation of Georgia to the Russian Federation, in the Consulate Department of Georgia in the Russian Federation.

Nana Mandjgaladze discovered her strife for the expression of her mind and heart through the language of art in 1990. She has her developed an original method of creating an art work. Her unique manner starts from her technique of preparing colors. Materials for them are natural elements of the vegetable world. Her palette includes particles of different colors, vegetables and fruits manually treated by the artist in a special way. Her works are distinguished by an unusual innovative technique that in combination with the symbolism of her images makes them extraordinary expressive and at the same time sincere and lyric.

Nana Mandjgaladze is a member of the Creative Artists’ Union of Russia and a member of the International Art Foundation. Her solo shows were held in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Central House of Artists, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, International Art Foundation and other prestigious venues. She has been awarded a Diploma of the Ferroni Russian-Italian Academy, a Bronze Medal of the Creative Artists’ Union of Russia and other honorary diplomas.
