Digit And Myth: Solo Show of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Konstantin Khudyakov in Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art

The Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art in St. Petersburg hosts a solo show of Konstantin Khudyakov, the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Head of the Volga Region Department of the Russian Academy of Arts, President of the Creative Artists’ Union of Russia.

On display are the artist’s recent works including his 3D pictures, digital mosaics and large-scale art works continuing his well-known cycles “Hotel Russia” and “Seasons of the Year”. The “Hotel Russia” cycle reveals a combination of the architectural experience of the artist, his love for digital technologies and painting, as well as sincere interest in today’s burning issues, historical and philosophic themes.

Konstantin Khudyakov is keen on working with innovative materials be it polymeric sculpture or computer graphics. In a new fashion presents the artist classical religious and historical topics, creates his own picture of the world through combination of various elements where even the smallest detail obtains its significance.
