The Russian Academy of Arts presents 30 paintings and graphic works of the Armenian artist Carlos Khachatryan. A graduate from the Yerevan Art Institute, since 2003 Carlos Khachatryan has been living in the Russian town of Vyazma. On view at the Academy are the artist’s works of his Vyazma period.

Carlos Khachatryan was born in 1946 in Yerevan, Armenia. Since 1976 he has been a member of the USSR Artists’ Union. The artist is a frequent participant in group and solo exhibitions in Armenia, Russia, Europe and the United States. His works are at the State Gallery in Armenia, in museum and private collections in Russia, Armenia, Europe and U.S.A.
