Voronezh Artists: Opening of the Exhibition in Tsereteli Art Gallery
Organized by the Voronezh Department of the Artists’ Union of Russia under the auspices of the Government of the Voronezh Region and the Russian Academy of Arts, the exhibition presents more than 80 paintings, graphic sheets, sculptures, works of decorative and applied art by artists from the city of Voronezh. At the opening ceremony the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli thanked all those who had been involved in the organization of this first major show of works by Voronezh artists in Moscow.
Works by Voronezh artists such as the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation M. Likhachev, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation I. Dikunov, V. Klepin, E. Lutsenko are in collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and other museums in Russia and CIS countries.
