Creators of the Worlds: Show of Works by Representatives of Eminent Dynasties of Russian Sculptors in Satka
On July 14, 2011 in the city of Satka, Chelyabinsk Region opened a moving exhibition entitled Creators of the Worlds, which for the first time presented works by representatives of the eminent dynasties of Russian sculptors: People’s Artist of Russia, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Alexander Burganov; People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Mikhail Pereyaslavets, Honored Artists of Russia Igor Burganov and Ivan Korzhev-Chuvelev.
This exhibition project is aimed at showing contemporary sculpture in the regions of Russia. Satka is the first to host the exhibition in the Chelyabinsk region because of its rich traditions in cultural and educational initiatives in partnership with Magnezit Group. The moving exhibition will be on display in all major cities of the Urals and Siberia.
