The Russian Academy Of Arts

The international internet-resource “PhotoPodium.com” unites creative people around the world, both professional and amateur photographers. It provides people who share the love for art and creativity with a possibility to communicate and exchange experience, as well as contributes to the promotion of their works.

The core of this resource’s team is photographers, besides the site has an art section where one can see painting, graphic art, sculpture. The internet-resource is being developed, new authors are invited and exhibitions are organized in various cities of the post-Soviet space and in the United States. For the period of its existence the “PhotoPodium.com” has already arranged 15 international shows with participants from Russia, the United States, Israel, Germany, Ukraine, Canada, Hungary, Great Britain, Georgia, Belarus, Netherlands, Estonia.

A year ago “PhotopPodium.com” launched a contest “PhotoPodium-2011” dedicated to the theme “Environment. Man and Architecture”. The jury includes representatives of the Russian Academy of Arts, Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the site’s photographers. The 16th exhibition in Tsereteli Art Gallery presents about 200 works by finalists of the contest in the following nominations: “Sacral Architecture”; “Genre”; “Genre Portrait” and “Creativity”.
