Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso: Graphic Works, Sculpture. Ceramics

The Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts presents an exhibition project “Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso: Graphic Works, Sculpture. Ceramics” including 119 works by Dali and 16 works by Picasso from the private collection of Alexander Shadrin (Ekaterinburg).

Since 1994 Alexander Shadrin, the Russian art collector and entrepreneur, has organized a number of exhibitions in Russia featuring works by Mikhail Shemyakin, Ernest Neizvestny, Ilya Kabakov, Oleg Tselkov, Anatoly Zverev and other distinguished representatives of nonconformism.

The show at the Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts highlights sculptures, bronze reliefs and several miniatures from the collection of Salvador Dali’s former attorney Benjamin Levi, an owner of the Paris and London museums of the artist, as well as Dali’s prints from the collection of Pierre and Christopher Argyle (“Respect for Durer”, “La Fontaine’s Bestiary”, “Venus in Furs”, “The Divine Comedy”, “50 Years of Surrealism”, “Human Vices”, etc.)

On display are also linocuts and ceramics by Pablo Picasso.
