Show of Work by Andrei Mylnikov and His Pupils in the city of Engels
The affiliate of A. Radishev Museum in the city of Engels, Saratov Region – Art Gallery named after Andrei Mylnikov plays host to Teacher and His Pupils Exhibition featuring 44 painting by 38 students of Andrei Mylnikov, Full Member and Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts. The master, whose name bears the Gallery, has selected for the show his fourteen paintings. In 1999, forty two pictures by the artist and his pupils were donated to the city of Engels.
The exhibition is located in a historical building that before the Revolution of 1917 belonged to Andrei Mylnikov’s grandfather – merchant Ukhin. Andrei Mylnikov’s works are on display on the first floor, paintings by his pupils can be seen on the ground floor of the Gallery.
