Exhibition of Artists – Rehabilitated Victims of Political Purges in New Manezh Exhibition Hall

The exhibition in New Manezh Exhibition Hall highlights work by artists-rehabilitated victims of political purges. The centerpiece is an exposition of paintings by artists of GULAG (labor camps), members of their families, children and grandchildren of rehabilitated victims of political purges.

The exhibition includes work by more than 100 artists, among them are President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli, Vice-Presidents of the Russian Academy of Arts Tair Salakhov, Efrem Zverkov, members of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts Dmitri Zhilinski, Igor Obrosov, academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Arts, members of the Moscow Artists’ Union.
