The Department of Art History and Art Criticism of the Russian Academy of Arts invites you to take part in the panel discussion dedicated to the 90^th jubilee of the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli on the theme “The House-Museum of Zurab Tsereteli in Peredelkino: the Sense of Creativity and Look into the History”, that will take place in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts (21 Prechistenka street, Moscow) on January 18, 2024 at 12.00.

The panel discussion deals with the creative work and artistic discoveries of the People’s Artist of Russia, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli that he embodied in his house-museum in the legendary village of Peredelkino.  For more than half a century the name of the master has been in the focus of attention of the wide public and mass media. His long and amazing professional career has mirrored the key problems of Russian art at the turn of the 20^th-21^st centuries. At the same time, Tsereteli’s creativity proves his unique ability to work practically in all the types and genres of fine arts; to recreate and develop many forgotten and almost lost in the 20^th century artistic techniques and technologies.
