The Russian Academy Of Arts

On August 28, 2023 at the award ceremony in the Apple Hall of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli presented the regalia of the Honorary Member of the RAA to the Chinese artist and calligrapher Han Yuchen. The ceremony was attended by the First Vice-President of the RAA Victor Kalinin, Vice-Presidents Tatyana Kochemasova and Vasily Tsereteli, the Academician and Member of the RAA Presidium Manana Popova, as well as heads of the RAA departments. The Chinese guests also visited the exposition of Tsereteli Art Gallery timed to the Master’s upcoming jubilee.

 

Han Yuchen is one of the leading masters of Chinese painting, Honorary Member of the Committee of the Chinese Association of Oil Painting Artists, Member of the Chinese Association of Calligraphers and Chinese Society of Photographers, Honorary Professor of I. Repin St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, Belorussian State Academy of Fine Arts, Laureate of numerous Chinese and international awards.
