“Love and Fidelity” Sculptural Composition by Aram Grigoryan Was Unveiled in Chita

On July 8, 2011 in Chita (Zabaykalsky Krai) was inaugurated a sculptural composition “Love and Fidelity” designed by Aram Grigoryan, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Vice-President of the Artists’ Union of Russia. The unveiling ceremony has been timed to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity celebrated in Russia since 2008 on the day of St. Peter and Fevronia of Murom.

The bronze sculpture on a granite base depicting a man and a woman dressed in the 19th century costumes stands in the historical place of Chita, near the street, where the wives of the Decembrists lived. The architect is Mickhail Albatrosov.
