Memorial Plaque Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the People’s Architect of the USSR, Winner of the Lenin and State Prizes, Academician Michael Posokhin Was Unveiled in Moscow

The memorial plaque commemorating the eminent architect Michael Posokhin was unveiled on December 13, 2010 on the façade of a high-rise designed by Michael Posokhin. Built in Kudrinskaya Square it has become one of the landmarks of Moscow. The memorial plaque created by the sculptor Ivan Kazansky features the architect’s high relief portrait and fragments of his most distinguished buildings.

The events organized by the Russian Academy of Arts in memory of Michael Posokhin were also held in the Hall of Ecumenical Councils in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
