The Russian Academy Of Arts

On June 25, 2009 at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli presented regalia of the Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts to the Italian artist Francesca Leone. The ceremony was also attended by the world renowned composer Ennio Morricone, a friend of the artist’s family and author of scores for Sergio Leone’s films.

The solo exhibition of works by Francesca Leone entitled “Out of Sight” is being held at Zurab Gallery (9 Tverskoy Boulevard, Moscow) from June 25, 2009 till July 25, 2009.  Francesca Leone is a graduate in painting from the Fine Arts Academy of Rome. Since 2007 she has been a frequent exhibitor whose paintings won a big success both in Italy and other countries.
