President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli Congratulated Yuri Lyubimov on his 90th Anniversary
On September 30, 2007 the art director of “Taganka Theatre” Yuri Lyubimov received congratulations on his 90th anniversary from many noted people of Russia and other countries.
The President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli presented the creator of the legendary “Taganka Theatre” with the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. In his address he said: “We highly appreciate you, the prominent master of home and world theatrical art. Each of your stagings becomes a remarkable event. It is due to your talent that the “Taganka Theatre” has gained a truly legendary popularity as a center of stage innovations, freedom of thinking and creativity which beams illuminate not only a cultural, but also a public life of this country”.
